Fair Pay Cuts

In the  "What do we do now" phase of our economic crisis, there are ways to create fairness.   Here's one of them:

.

Wage Cuts:  If we must reduce wages, how do we create a fair wage cut for everyone?   Here's your anawer:  

All employees take a percentage reduction in pay or salary.    The percentage of cut is based on the pay they receive, including the value of perks,** bonuses, and the like. 

Figure the percent of pay reduction by deducting four zeros from the person's annual earnings.   For example, a person earning $200,000 per year takes a twenty percent cut,  a person earning $100,000 per year takes a ten percent cut,  $50,000 pay take a five percent cut, et cetera.   

**Consider perks as anything of value that a person receives that others would have to pay for.

 

Using the above pay-reduction technique will also go a long way toward dispelling the anger of the working class who feel used and manipulated by the wealthy.
